We will offer several sizes of carts patterned after certain brands of garden carts but built of stronger materials for heavy-duty use. They will be available in kit and assembled form. Carts made of 3/8-inch plywood abound on the Internet but we decided more strength and durability were required. Our carts will feature reinforced 3/4-inch plywood floors, 5/8-inch metal-trimmed sides, butyl rubber liners, 26-inch inflated-tire wheels, 3/4-inch axels, and feet and handles of 3/4-inch galvanized steel tubing.
We view our carts as important survival tools during times of strife. Depending on fuel availability, you may have to travel on foot to find food, cooking fuel, building materials, etc. You may also need to transport goods to a flea market or farmers' market site. One of our large, rugged carts may mean the difference between success and failure in your efforts to provide for yourself and your family.
